I have the Hitchcock silents 'The Ring', 'The Manxman' and 'The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog'. Checking them at USCO revealed copyrights, but I'm wondering if video alone of these works would be PD. I can strip the music from them. Does anyone know?

All of those films are currently copyrighted until at least 2050 (regardless of the soundtrack). There's some background info here: http://www.hitchcockwiki.com/wiki/Copyright_status_of_Hitchcock_films
